Actors, dancers and musicians come to Jeff Carpenter Studios and leave with photographs that are both technically excellent and artistically compelling. Whether you’re an established performer or just starting out, you need photographs that command attention and reflect who you are in your best light.
A headshot session includes shooting, shot selection, retouching, layout, printing hard copies of your headshot, and burning a CD-ROM of your images.
During the shoot, the shots are previewed in real time on a video reference monitor. After the shoot, the shots are reviewed and selected in comfort on a 9-foot wide projection screen.
The studio features a full hair and makeup station. A makeup artist is available and is highly recommended.
We are skilled in dance photography, and can produce dancer headshots, full-body shots, and dance action shots.
For bands and musicians, we offer highly creative publcity photos and album cover photography.
In addition to our fully-appointed studio, we have a portable production set-up and are available for outdoor and location shooting.
The studio is conveniently located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, less than a block from the 6 train subway.
